NewsDate: May 11, 2009 OEMHL AAA LEAGUE BANTAM CONVENER REQUIRED
The AAA league is currently accepting applicants for the position of bantam convener for the 2009/10 season. This position provides the opportunity to be involved with the development and advancement of AAA hockey within the Ottawa District Minor Hockey Association. Some of the major functions of being a league convener involve the following: * Responsible to oversee both the minor and major bantam divisions (10 teams) * In conjunction with the teams/associations compose a schedule for the 09/10 playing season (mid August) * Create and maintain the league schedule for each division * Laision with referee assignor for all schedule changes for the assignment of game officials * Record and monitor all suspensions * Receive copies of all game sheets for league, tournament and exhibition games from each member team * Attend and provide a report at each league meeting * Make adjustments to the Pointstreak automated system as required * Create schedules and oversee play-offs for each division * Honourarium provided
